What We Do
We do not just give aid, we empower our beneficiaries until they become donors themselves
Education
One out of every 5 out-of-school children in the world is a Nigerian child. Nigeria has 18.3 million out-of-school children, making her the country with the highest out-of-school children globally. The effect of this inadequate basic education is that 74% of school-aged between 7-14 years lack basic reading and math skills. Other ripple effects include, extreme poverty, missed opportunities and possible recruitment into extremist groups. (2024 UNICEF report).
Good Health and well-being
We fight health inequities, eliminating barriers to health inequities in hard-to-reach rural communities… Poverty, ignorance, illiteracy, conflicts, disasters, isolated settlements are barriers to accessing total health. People living in hard-to-reach rural communities have fewer or no government-funded social amenities.
Campaign Against Drug Abuse and Misuse
With accessibility issues, inaccessible roads, it is difficult to control drug abuse/misuse in isolated, hard-to-reach rural communities. Prior to our arrival at Buraku Camp (one of the Fulani forest settlements) near Okuta community, any unqualified personnel could visit the forest with any drug of his choice.
